25 Years of Belavia Flights from Domodedovo
Belavia, the national carrier of the Republic of Belarus, is celebrating 25 years since the start of flights from Domodedovo International Airport. During this time, the company has transported about 5 million passengers and performed more than 54 thousand flights.
In the summer schedule, flights are operated to Minsk twice a day at 12:15 and 19:55. Embraer 195 aircraft are used on the route, with 11 business-class seats and 96 economy-class seats. During periods of high demand, flights are operated by Boeing 737-300 aircraft, also in a two-class configuration.
In honor of the airline's anniversary, Domodedovo traditionally decorated the check-in counters and prepared sweet souvenirs for passengers, including "Potato" cakes made at the airport's onboard catering factory. The choice of the "Potato" theme for the anniversary is not accidental, as the potato flower is the official tourism logo of Belarus.
In honor of the holiday, prizes will be raffled off on the social media channels of Domodedovo Airport.
