From Domodedovo to Aqaba
Royal Jordanian has opened ticket sales for direct flights from Domodedovo Airport to Aqaba — a resort on the Red Sea coast. Flights on this new route are scheduled to start on December 20, 2026.
The flights will operate twice a week — on Thursdays and Sundays. Tickets can be purchased through the airline’s Moscow office and accredited tour operators.
Flights will be operated using Airbus A320neo aircraft in a single‑class configuration with 177 seats. The journey time will be approximately five hours. A meal is included in the ticket price. Passengers will also have access to the Crown Class multimedia system with movies in various languages and free Wi-Fi on board system.
A beach holiday in Aqaba can be combined with excursions to the ancient city of Petra and to the Wadi Rum desert.
Currently, Royal Jordanian operates regular flights from Domodedovo Airport to Amman, the capital of Jordan. Departures are on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from Moscow at 17:05, with arrival in Amman at 22:25. The times shown are local.
Tour operators will now be able to offer package tours to Jordan from Moscow with half-board accommodation and departures from different cities — Amman and Aqaba.

Starting December 13, 2025, Russian citizens can visit Jordan without a visa for up to 30 days per trip. The total length of stay must not exceed 90 days within a calendar year.
